27-80 Paddlers Club History

Our Beginnings. We were founded March 15th, 2005 and were ably guided by John and Judy Wakeman for a number of years. From its early beginnings, the club has grown to over 150 members, and is now governed by a slate of officers elected annually.

Our Name? The 27-80 Paddlers club was named for the latitude and longitude coordinates nearest to our location on the east coast of Florida near Stuart -- exact location is about 5 miles offshore.
