Blue Cypress Lake - This is the largest lake in Indian River County. There is plenty of parking and a restroom is available. Launch from a concrete boat ramp. You will see many gators and ospray nests plus other wildlife.

N Causeway Island Park - 500 North Causeway Drive. At the park there are plenty of parking with restrooms located near the boat ramps. A number of mangrove islands are located within easy access from this park and a number of them have sandy beaches where paddlers can rest.
River Park Marina - 500 E Prima Vista Blvd, Port St Lucie. There is plenty of parking in the marina with a boat ramp and a small sandy beach for launching your kayaks. Restroom facilities are also available. Paddle either N or S into mangrove areas. Paddle N to the Ox Bow Eco Center. Typically a short paddle.
Round Island - 2201 South A1A, Vero Beach. Launch location includes two boat ramps plus a sandy location to launch kayaks and canoes. The location has plenty of parking and restroom facilities are available. Most times of the year manatees can be found there. Spoil Island,
S Causeway Beach Park - 414 Seaway Dr, Ft Pierce. Nice sandy beach area with adequate parking but you may have to walk a bit if the area is crowded. From this location you can paddle through the mangroves to the Inlet State Park for a swim on the beach. N Spoil Island
Savannas Preserve State Park - Freshwater marshes, or 'savannas,' once extended all along Florida's southeast coast. Stretching more than 10 miles from Ft. Pierce to Jensen Beach, this preserve is the largest and most intact remnant of Florida's east coast savannas. State Park entry fee.
Ten Mile Creek - 3401 Gordy Road Fort Pierce. This eight-acre site provides canoe access to Ten Mile Creek, a tributary of the North Fork of the St. Lucie River. A short, self-guided interpretive trail guides visitors through the floodplain forest, floodplain swamp and oxbows. Up river
Veterans Park - 2100 SE Veterans Memorial Pkwy. Veterans Park at Rivergate has plenty of parking for cars and cars with boat trailers. The park has a couple of covered gazabos where you eat lunch and three boat ramps to launch your kayaks. S Paddle, N Paddle
White City Park -. 2081 W. Midway Road. Launch from the boat ramp at this beautiful state park filled with Spanish moss-draped oaks. Plenty of parking, picnic areas, and facilities availabe on the right as you enter the park. N Paddle
